The Joyriders Giving Fund
The Joyriders Giving Fund was established at Community Foundation of PEI in 2024, by The Joyriders Therapeutic Riding Association of PEI in support of their organization.
The Joyriders Therapeutic Riding Association of PEI is an amazing program run by volunteers since 1979. Our unique programs offer opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to benefit from physical exercise, recreation, and sport, as well as socializing with peers. Clients partner with therapy horses to improve physical coordination, balance, and strength, while developing confidence, self-regulation, self-esteem, and communication. To witness the benefits to riders with challenges is simply magic. The joy on the riders’ faces says it all.
