Foundation Awards $60,000


The Community Foundation of Prince Edward Island granted over $60,000 to the non-profit charitable sector in PEI during the past year. At the annual reception and awards night, held at Rodd's Charlottetown Hotel, on August 27, 2008, the following awards were given out:

Volunteer Recognition


CFPEI recognized Ken Gillis for his leadership in implementing The Island Arts and Heritage Stabilization Program under which PEI arts organizations participated in a capacity building program that included both financial grants and technical assistance.
