Annual Reception

Our annual fall reception was held at the Arts Guild on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 with Paul H Schurman as Chair. The following awards were announced:
  • Orin Carver Scholarship to Ryan Keefe of Summerside
  • Summerside Natick Scholarship to Rae-Anne McCourt of Summerside
  • Lowell Philips Scholarship to Andrea Gallant of Alberton
  • Senator and Ruby Bonnell Scholarship to Carolyn Doucette of Kensington
  • PEI Rape and Assault Crisis Centre
  • Girl Guides of Canada
  • Learning Disabilities Association of PEI
  • Canadian Parents for French
  • Hesta MacDonald Grant for library books at the Belfast Consolidated School
CFPEI thanked Jim Travers Q.C. of Stewart McKelvey Stirling Scales, a volunteer since day one, for his wise counsel and support for over 15 years and also Don Glendenning who has been involved with CFPEI since its inception.
