The Community Foundation of Prince Edward Island is pleased to announce the second round of applications for Rear Admiral Louise C. and Mr. James E. Wilmot Scholarship fund. In January 2012, five (5) deserving students will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship towards their education in the Resident Care Worker Program at Holland College - Souris Center.

HRH Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Legacy Fund
In recognition of Their Royal Highnesses, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.s wedding and to celebrate their visit to Prince Edward Island, it is the Community Foundation of Prince Edward Island's distinct honor and pleasure to announce the Foundation's newest legacy fund - the HRH Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Legacy Fund. The Fund will provide an annual scholarship to a PEI student attending a PEI post-secondary institution. Also, the fund will provide grants to non-profit organizations on Prince Edward Island that embody the causes of which the Royal Couple are patrons, such as: helping young people in society; raising awareness and support for servicemen and women; and developing sustainable models of living in the light of climate change and dwindling natural resources.
